Huckberry Fin's music is rooted in the rich tapestry of Asheville, NC. Growing up with music at his fingertips—dad's guitar and mom's piano—he wasted no time learning many different instruments, but the drums evolved into his true love. In 2023, he acquired an MPC One drum machine, igniting a burst of musical creativity and creation.
He weaves dusty grooves, complex instrumentation, and vintage textures into immersive tracks that feel both nostalgic and fresh. Not settling for a stereotypical, genre restricting sound, he embraces the chaos of creative freedom. Influenced by icons like Madlib and J Dilla, his work has struck a chord, earning placement on SoundCloud Discovery Playlists and being a featured BandLab Curator Artist Pick.
His most recent album, Vegetable Stock, Vol. 2, is available now on all major streaming platforms! Side of Cornbread, is a remastered batch of tracks from Vegetable Stock, Vol. 1.
